Jasen Enterprises
Privacy Policy
Jasen Enterprises is a privately held group based in Singapore. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is handled, and how to contact us about it.
01Who we are
Jasen Enterprises, Singapore. We operate a group of independent companies, each of which may publish its own privacy policy covering its own products and customers. This policy covers this website and the internal systems described below.
Questions about this policy can be sent to jasenytham@gmail.com.
02This website
This site is deliberately simple. It does not set cookies, does not run analytics or tracking of any kind, and contains no forms. We do not collect names, email addresses or any other personal information from visitors, and no visitor accounts exist.
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. As with any externally hosted resource, that request carries your IP address to Google, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy. No other third party receives anything.
Links to our companies' own websites are clearly marked. Once you follow one, that site's privacy policy applies rather than this one.
03Contacting us
If you email us, we keep the message and your address only for as long as needed to deal with what you wrote about. Correspondence is never added to a mailing list, sold, or shared.
04Internal systems and Google account access
This section is included for completeness and for the purposes of Google's API review process. It concerns an internal tool and has no bearing on visitors to this website.
We operate a private assistant application, alfred, used by a single individual — Jasen Y. Tham — on his own Google account. It is not a public product, has no other users, and no account can be created for it.
What it accesses
With explicit permission granted through Google's own consent screen, the application can read messages and metadata from Gmail, read events from Google Calendar, and create email drafts and calendar events in those same accounts. It accesses no other person's account, and no mechanism exists for it to do so.
Why
For one purpose only: running a personal assistant for the account owner — summarising mail, surfacing reminders and upcoming commitments, and preparing draft replies.
Nothing is sent without approval. The application prepares drafts and proposed entries; every one is reviewed by the account owner before it goes anywhere. It does not send email on its own and does not act autonomously. Google data is never used to train models or to build advertising profiles.
Sharing
Data obtained from Google APIs is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with any third party, with one necessary exception: to produce summaries and draft text, content is passed to the AI service that performs that processing, limited to what the requested task requires. No other party receives Google data.
Storage and retention
Any retained data is held on a private server controlled by the account owner, not on a shared or public platform. It is kept only as long as needed to perform the task it was accessed for, then deleted. Access credentials are stored securely and used solely to connect to the account owner's own Google account.
Revoking access
Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Doing so immediately ends the application's ability to read from or write to Gmail and Google Calendar.
alfred's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
05Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page and the date below updated.
